Debra Navarro is a native Houstonian, Texas A&M graduate, and former employee of KKBQ-AM/FM 93Q Country. Following a marriage and move to Wichita Kansas, Debra began working in the jewelry industry in 2000, becoming a Graduate Gemologist from GIA and Certified Gemologist Appraiser from AGS. Her leap into designing jewelry began in 2015 when Debra seized an opportunity to learn first-hand about artisanal mining deep in the East African bush. She went for the gemstones, but it was the people who changed her life. Standing at her own
crossroads, Debra was inspired by the passion and determination of those miners, despite the adversity they faced, to chase her own dream of designing jewelry.
Today Debra Navarro is best known for her organically modern fine jewelry, instantly identifiable by her unique styling of responsibly sourced, natural colored diamonds and gemstones set in 18-karat recycled gold. One by one, each piece of Debra Navarro jewelry is passionately crafted into a singular, wearable work of art. With an unrestrained, yet sophisticated, aesthetic influenced by her Texas roots, and the East African mining communities where she sources her colored gemstones; Debra designs each piece with gratitude and purpose. Every
Debra Navarro jewelry design represents giving back, empowerment, and encouragement for each and every person to chase their dreams with polish and grit.
Debra currently resides in Wichita, KS with her husband of 22 years, one daughter, three dogs, and four cats
